Every Little Helps

Limited access to educational resources remains a major challenge for many rural communities across Africa. Students in these areas often lack access to high-quality support in reading comprehension, logical reasoning, debate, and STEM education. These gaps limit academic success, self-confidence, and future opportunities—particularly for underserved communities.

At ReadWide, we help close the educational gap by collecting pre‑loved books and school equipment, restoring them to excellent condition, and delivering them to under-resourced schools in rural communities.

Our Solution

Through our youth-facing Scholar Bridge programs, ReadWide Global Foundation delivers engaging, skills-based learning that strengthens:

  • Reading & comprehension
  • Debate, communication & critical thinking
  • Mathematics, science & technology
  • Project-based learning & innovation

Impact

  • Improved academic performance
  • Stronger confidence and communication skills
  • Increased interest in STEM careers
  • Greater readiness for higher education and leadership

Library Donation

Only 11% of schools in Ghana have functional libraries, meaning the vast majority of students attend schools with no access to library books. In rural areas specifically, access is even more limited: some regions have only one public library serving about 500,000 people. (borgenproject)

Together, we can ignite the power of literacy and transform futures.

In the quiet corners of rural and underserved communities in Ghana and Africa, countless students are waiting for the chance to dream bigger. With the right support, their potential can shine. Your generosity fuels this transformation—providing the resources, commitment, and hope needed to place the Gift of Literacy in their hands.

With your help, we open doors to possibility, confidence, and the brighter future every child deserves.
